Part-Time Bookkeeper

This is a remote position.

Viridian Staffing's Client is looking for an experienced, self-starter to act as a temporary part-time Bookkeeper for a Research & Development firm in the Cannabis Industry. This could lead to a permanent opportunity for the right candidate. This position is remote and can be based throughout the United States.

In this role, you will be responsible for Accounts Payable, including bill payment and bill tracking. You are known for your attention to detail, which will also allow you to assist with Quickbooks Online (QBO) cleanup. In order to do this, diplomacy in addition to strong written and verbal communication skills will be required. You should be known for your discretion and integrity, along with being self-driven, as this is a remote position.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of work experience in a Bookkeeper or Accounts Payable role
• GAAP Knowledge
• Proficiency with and ability to ramp up quickly on enterprise software solutions
• Advanced experience with Quickbooks
• Cash Management experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business is preferred
• Flexible availability 10-20 hours/week
  
  

Compensation: $13-$25/hour
