Park Inc is currently hiring a part-time Parking Garage Attendant for our client location in Blacksburg, VA. The Parking Garage Attendant plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and managing daily operations at the multi-use parking garage. This position requires open availability for all Virginia Tech home football games and other special events.

Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily operation of the parking facility.
- Welcome and assist arriving and departing guests.
- Help customers with automated revenue control equipment, including ticket dispensers, pay stations, and exit stations.
- Safeguard customer financial and personal information.
- Ensure the security of vehicles within the garage.
- Regularly inspect windows, security cameras, doors, and locks on garage premises.
- Resolve guest service issues promptly; escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Adhere to departmental procedures for efficient, safe, and secure operations.
- Maintain high standards of personal performance.
- Immediately report accidents and incidents.
- Maintain the integrity and appearance of the garage.
- Compute and record transaction totals in daily revenue reports.
- Communicate effectively with customers, clients, and management on-site.
- Foster strong client relationships under the guidance of management.
- Account for daily receipts and handle cash from pay stations.
- Monitor and maintain garage equipment, including pay stations and parking spaces.

- Outstanding customer service skills
- Flexibility with schedule to be available on some weekends and after hours to handle emergencies
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrate good organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Must have the ability to work independently and within established guidelines, follow directions, and work well with others
- Strong computer skills required
- Ability to walk garage, sweep, pick up trash, etc.
