Job Description
Packaging Technicians will report directly to the Packaging Group Leader. This position will have primary responsibility for packaging (both sterile and non-sterile) operations.

Packaging Technicians will report directly to the Packaging Group Leader. This position will have primary responsibility for packaging (both sterile and non-sterile) operations.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Verify products are correct and perform inspection of product using precision measuring equipment (such as calipers and micrometers) as applicable for product identification, prior to packaging
- Verify paperwork is complete and accurate, ensuring all products meet internal quality standards and customer specifications
- Package product per setup sheet specifications
- Accurately compile final paperwork and verify/review job completion
- Print and apply labels as necessary
- Run packaging, sealing, and testing machinery
- Compile Certificate of Compliance documentation packages according to customer requirements
- Collaborate with Quality Engineers, Process Engineers, and Manufacturing Engineers to resolve questions and concerns as they arise
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist and train others as requested
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- ISO 13485 experience preferred
- Ability to operate precision measuring equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow specific instructions
- Ability to work in both individual and team settings
- Strong documentation accuracy and legibility
- Ability to adapt to workload including training and working in other areas of the company as needed
- Good observation and time management skills
- Good organization and communication skills
- Good math skills
- Blueprint reading knowledge
- Manufacturing environment: sitting or standing for long periods of time is required
- May require repetitive motions
- May require working in isolated space (i.e., clean room) for periods of time
- May require special attire (gowns, hairnets, etc.) if working in a clean room environment
- Occasional exposure to loud noise
- May require lifting up to 40 lbs.
