Packaging Line Operator

As a member of Sociable Cider’s packaging team, you will be an integral part of keeping our packaging line humming along to produce cases of cider and hemp beverages.

This position requires at least one-year prior experience in the manufacturing or craft beverage industries. Candidates should be mechanically inclined, with a desire to problem solve and be willing to spend the workday on their feet completing a variety of tasks. Below are the primary responsibilities that would be expected of the position:

• Operate packaging equipment, including: depalletizer, filler/seamer, pasteurizer, and cartoner
• Understand daily and weekly objectives through effective communication
• Maintain attention to detail and adherence to SOPs in all tasks
• Maintain canning hall sanitation and cleanliness
• Stack and palletize cases

Job Qualifications:

• 1+ year experience in manufacturing or craft beverage industries
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Stay focused on detailed tasks
• Frequent kneeling, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching
• Lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly

Schedule

• 7.00am – 3.00p M-F. Periodic weekend availability if needed

Compensation & Benefits

• Wage: $25 - $28 / hour starting (more if prior experience/ skills warrants)
• $350 / month pre-tax health insurance stipend
