Position Overview:

The HRIS specialist is responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance of specific modules in our Oracle HCM. The successful candidate will partner effectively with internal specialists and other HRIS specialists to ensure that our systems are regularly updated and compliance with labor regulations around the world. In addition to excellent collaboration skills, you will also possess in-depth knowledge of HR process as well as HR-related software and databases.


Responsibilities:

  • Continuous Evaluation and Evolution of the HRIS (Oracle HCM) focusing on the Compensation, Benefits and Absence Management Modules:

-Has ongoing responsibility to partner with Compensation, Benefits and other specialists to enhance the functionality, efficiency and effectiveness of the HRIS.

-Initially responsible for the Compensation, Benefits and Absence Management Modules. The intention over time is to facilitate cross training for members of the team to expand team members’ skillsets and experiences.

-Works closely with team evaluating and implementing payroll solutions to ensure tight connection and integration.

-Leads planning and change implementations for assigned modules working closely with HR Specialists.

  • Collaboration with User Community, IT, Implementation Partners and HRIS team members
  • Solicits feedback from internal specialists and the User community to identify opportunities for improvement, recommend changes, and implement functional solutions.
  • Coordinates with Implementation Partners to scope and implement functional solutions with a focus on leveraging implementation partner expertise and building own capacity to update/enhance functionality independently.
  • Maintaining data integrity in systems by regularly analyzing data and performing routine audits within assigned modules.
  • Designing user-friendly processes, guidelines and documentation
  • Leads systems upgrades and system additions to assigned modules in partnership with Implementation Partner, IT Department and HRIS team members
  • Monitor/manage spend for assigned module change projects
  • Hands-on management of the Compensation, Benefits and Absence Management Modules.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or relevant field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in Oracle HCM and with relevant knowledge of either Benefits, Compensation or both modules.
  • Prior experience managing mergers/acquisitions/divestitures a plus.
  • Experience driving change and managing HRIS updates/implementations
  • Experience in a collaborative, high growth environment; practical problem solver
  • Strong knowledge of data management and protection practices.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
