Role: Sr Oracle EBS

Duration: 6 months

Remote with a little bit of onsite is OK

Location: Chelmsford, MA, Have a relocate to MA and be onsite a couple times a month.  

Sr Oracle ERP / EBS that is 70 % Functional that has worked as an Architect for 3+ years that a background with these skills below.

·      70 % Functional – 30 % Technical

·      ERP / EBS for 8 + years

·      Architecture for 3 + years end to end implementations

·       Has 9+ ( COMMUNICATION SKILLS – NO MUMBLING ) 

·      AWS

·      Azure

·      Data Bricks

·      Data warehouse

·      SOMEBODY THAT CAN EXPLAIN WHAT THEY HAVE DONE ON THEIR PROJECT IF ASKED TECHNICAL QUESTIONS THEY WILL NOT MUMBLE THEIR ANSWERS. 

·       I NEED CLEAR COMMUNICATION SKILLS FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY 

Job Description:

Background:

·      Client is using both Oracle Cloud ERP and Oracle EBS as their source systems

·      They already have a data warehouse built on SQL Server and the data from Cloud ERP and EBS is being loaded into SQL Server data warehouse

·      They use Tableau and they are ready to begin working with the business areas to explain the data warehouse to them and allow them to specify the Tableau KPI’s, reports and dashboards they want

·      SQL Server is not the long term platform for their data warehouse – they want to move to the Cloud. So they want a resource that can also help guide them as they look at other Cloud Data Warehouse platforms.

Skills and experience needed:

·      Must have strong data warehousing and analytics background – don’t need to be an expert in SQL Server or Tableau but need to be a veteran of data warehousing and analytics projects

·      Would be extremely helpful if they had some experience with Oracle Cloud ERP or EBS as data sources into a data warehouse – not ultimately required but a very strong preference

·      Understands data modeling concepts like star schema

·      Some prior development experience with a BI/Analytics platform so they understand how it works – could be Power BI, Oracle, Cognos, Microstrategy, etc

·      Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

·      Experienced at working with the business people to identify and gather requirements and putting together functional and technical specifications for KPI’s, reports and dashboards

·      Some experience with a variety of Cloud data warehouse platforms is preferable or at least knowledge of the different offerings (eg Snowflake, Azure, Oracle, Redshift, Databricks, etc)

·      Able to work with on offshore development team to get Tableau reports and dashboards created
