Function/Duties of Position
This position supports the Oregon Center for Excellence in Behavioral Health and Aging (OCEBHA), a collaboration between Portland State University and OHSU funded by the Oregon Health Authority. OCEBHA’s mission is to expand the number of health and social service professionals trained to provide culturally specific behavioral health services for older adults, and to promote research, health policy, and programs that improve access to and quality of behavioral health services provided by diverse organizations throughout Oregon.
The student worker will assist with designing and conducting the program evaluation for the center. Job duties will include:

The student worker will assist with designing and conducting the program evaluation for the center. Job duties will include:
- Attending meetings with OCEBHA leadership and workgroups
- Supporting evaluation design efforts
- Background research and literature review
- Assist with survey and form design and implementation
- Mentored quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Disseminate findings through written reports and presentations
- Enrolled in or on vacation from or is otherwise registered in a Graduate Program (minimum 4.5 credit hours)
- Experience using a computer to accomplish work-based goals
- Experience working effectively with a team
- Experience working independently on assigned tasks
- Ability to work with others and communicate professionally
- Proficient in navigating web-based resources
- Basic Microsoft Excel Skills
- Coursework completed in evaluation
- Current MPH or PhD student in the School of Public Health
- Experience working on a program evaluation
- Experience using Google Shared Drives
- Project management or task tracking
- Training or experience specific to aging and/or behavioral health
- Qualitative coding
- Any of the following software skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Completed CITI training(s) in responsible conduct of research
