Occupational Health Manager

As the Occupational Health Manager at Mosaic, you’ll lead and coordinate our occupational health services program and industrial hygiene initiatives. Your responsibilities will include refining health services programs, overseeing clinic operations, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You’ll collaborate with various teams to create a healthier workforce and maintain the effectiveness of our site medical programs. Where will you work: This position will be located at our NA business headquarters at 13830 Circa Crossing Drive | Lithia, FL. Hybrid with three dedicated office days of Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday with the opportunity to work from home Wednesday and Friday. You will also be eligible to work a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off. Ability and desire to travel to NA sites 30% of the time.

What You’ll Do

  • Refine and administer health services programs related to illness and injury prevention.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts for clinics.
  • Standardize clinic operations and implement performance improvement programs.
  • Establish specific Occupational Health performance criteria.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources, legal, and site management.
  • Conduct Preventive and Health Promotion Campaigns (e.g., vaccinations, educational lectures, First Aid).
  • Manage a team of occupational health professionals (nurses, medical assistants, contract physicians).
  • Ensure ongoing education and competency assessments for nurses.
  • Collaborate on ADA, FMLA, OSHA, MSHA, DOT and HIPAA compliance.
  • Manage workers’ compensation cases, physicals, and drug/alcohol testing.
  • Facilitate timely resolution and return to work for injured and ill employees.
  • Collaborate with industry influencers to evolve occupational health practices.
  • Coordinate wellness initiatives to promote employee health.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational health, Industrial Hygiene, business, technical or related field.
  • 7 + years experience in health professional management experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize complex processes
  • Advanced MS Office Suite skills
  • Analytical
  • Ability to build and sustain a highly functional team
  • In-depth knowledge of clinical and/or medical services best practices.
  • Experience and knowledge creating and maintaining industrial hygiene and wellness programs

Bonus Points If You Have The Following

  • Master’s degree in business, technical, medical or related field.
  • Certification in Occupational Health or Industrial Hygiene.
  • Nurse Practitioner, MD, or other Business-related profession with a medical background.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations including ADA, FMLA, OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and HIPAA.
