O&P Assistant

The O&P Assistant is responsible for the measurement, casting, modification, fabrication and fitting of prosthetic and orthotic devices under the direct supervision of an ABC Certified Practitioner. Additionally, they are responsible for the timely and compliant patient documentation utilizing OPIE EMR system. The Prosthetic/Orthotic Assistant is responsible to monitor their WIP and direct the technical staff in fabrication of specific orthotic and prosthetic devices following an organized and orderly work flow with reasonable delivery dates of the orthosis/prosthesis to patients.

Schedule Non-exempt, Full-time (in-person)

Holidays 9 observed holidays per year

Compensation range The hired applicant's placement within the range is based on qualifications, market area, professional experience and education.

• Adherence to ABC Standards
• Compliant data entry in OPIE EMR System
• The utilization of CAD systems for device modification
• Working in a professional manner with O&P clinical staff

Required

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2 years experience in Orthotics & Prosthetics
• Certified Orthotic Fitter requirements by ABC
• ABC Registered Assistant
• COVID-19 Vaccination
