, Job Description

The director of the Family Birthing Center provides 24-hours management of the inpatient nursing care and related operations/personnel activities for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal patients. Under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer, ensures the safe, effective and efficient operations of this nursing department. This position is also responsible for performing duties consistent with the policies, procedures, mission, vision, guiding principles and manager accountabilities of KVH, including unit associated collective bargaining agreements.

, Qualifications

What is required...

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program & currently licensed in the State of Washington
  • At least eight years of clinical nursing experience with a minimum of 2 of those years in a charge or leadership position
  • Current ACLS card (maintenance required)
  • Current NRP card (maintenance required)
  • Current CPR card (maintenance required)

What Is Preferred...

  • Three years of supervisory and/or department level management experience

Additional Information

Wage: Wage range starts at $105,830/year and goes up to $167,654/yearActual wage will be based on years' of applicable experience.

FTE: 1.0 = 40 hours/week; Exempt
