Job Purpose

The New Grad Infotainment Software Engineer position will support the development of Canoo’s proprietary infotainment software and related technologies.

Responsibilities (80s Of The Position)

• Develop drivers, middleware and application software for embedded linux
• Debug, investigate and modify existing linux drivers and services
• Develop documentation and test plans
• Integrate new and updated software components into the infotianment build
• Work with hardware engineers, UI/UX engineers and systems engineers to test and validate new features on Hardware In Loop and on vehicles.
  
  

Required Experience

• BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering
• Excellent C/C++ development skills
• Understanding on Linux/Android or QNX – tool, libraries
• Experience writing Linux services and applications
• Understanding of software development practices.
• Ability to follow circuit schematics and PCB layout drawings
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Experience connecting applications with backend services or mobile applications
• Experience with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi
• Experience with HMI software – including Qt, Unreal, Kanzi
• Knowledge of automotive technologies & use-cases – CAN, LIN, Ethernet
