Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Mine Engineer at American Gilsonite Company (AGC) holds a pivotal role in optimizing mining operations, leveraging technical expertise to enhance efficiency, safety, and resource extraction. Guided by AGC's core values of personal responsibility, clear communication, and a relentless pursuit of excellence, the Mine Engineer plays a crucial role in shaping AGC's mining success. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Design and Planning: Develop mining plans, including excavation methods, equipment selection, and resource estimation, to optimize productivity and safety.
- Operational Analysis: Analyze mining operations and data to identify opportunities for efficiency enhancement and cost reduction.
- Project Management: Lead and manage engineering projects, ensuring they are executed on time and within budget while achieving desired outcomes.
- Safety Integration: Integrate safety protocols and engineering solutions to enhance mine safety, protecting both personnel and equipment.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with mining teams, geologists, and other engineers to optimize mine designs and operational processes.
