We have exciting opportunities for two Clinical Psychologists to join our team in providing healthcare services to Military Service Members and their families at the Naval Medicine Readiness & Training Unit in Groton, Connecticut, and Newport, Rhode Island.

Work Environment And Roles

Newport, Rhode Island:

• Setting: Clinical, Medical Homeport
• Role: Internal Behavioral Health Consultant, Clinical Psychologist
• Responsibilities: Evaluate and treat patients addressing issues like pain management, psychological factors influencing physical conditions, or difficulty coping with medical problems. Conduct psychological assessments and interventions to support patients in managing their physical health and well-being.
  
  

Groton, Connecticut

• Setting: Clinical, Medical Readiness Clinic
• Role: Provide Post Deployment Health Readiness Re-Assessment at the Medical Readiness Clinic.
  
  

Compensation And Benefits

• Salary: $160,000 - $175,060 Annually
• Sign-On Bonus: $5000
• Relocation Assistance available
• Hours: Monday - Friday, with No Nights, No Weekends, and No On-Call required

Minimum Qualifications

• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree
• Graduate from an American Psychology Association-accredited college or university
• Completion of an internship in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association
• Relevant experience as outlined for each role
• Current, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist
  
  

Job Responsibilities

• Practice within ethical guidelines and MTF privileges
• Conduct psychological evaluations, establish psychiatric diagnoses, and provide individual and group therapy
• Assist in the rehabilitation of patients
