Required Skills

  • Pc-dmis experience for CMM

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for the design, development, and qualification of metrology test methods and fixtures.
  • Programming of measurement systems, including Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) and Pc-dmis.
  • Provide metrology support for first article inspection (FAI), routine testing, and measurement support, data entry, and analysis.
  • Conduct Measurement System Analysis studies on the metrology test methods.
  • Work with the contract manufacturer to transfer the incoming inspection methods from the design site.
  • Provide support to transfer the inspection methods from CT scan to CMM.
  • Review and document the inspection results for FAIs and routine testing.

Experience And Education

  • BS Technical Degree.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Metrology.
  • Knowledge in CMM & Pc-dmis.
  • Ability to work with part drawings/models.
  • Strong understanding of Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Good documentation and reporting skills.
