Role Description


As a Merchant Services Sales Executive professional at L10N Pay, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales growth and contributing to the overall success of the company. This is an outside sales full-time remote position where you will be responsible for engaging with potential clients, identifying their business needs, and presenting solutions that align with their objectives.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Actively market and sell merchant solutions and services while maintaining established individual production levels.
  • Generate leads and engage prospective business clients; collaborate to generate cross-sell opportunities for transactions under $100,000, referring transactions over $100,000 to Field Sales Specialists.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations on all product documentation. Stay current on product knowledge, competition, and compliance issues related to merchant solutions and products, including new trends and developments in the industry.
  • Develop and execute a strategy for selling merchant solutions and services in conjunction with referral partners through comprehensive and ongoing training initiatives provided by the manager.
  • Identify new prospects and revenue opportunities using referrals from lead lists, current merchants, and self-sourcing.
  • Develop an in-depth expertise in Merchant Solutions, value-added services, and pricing models.
  • Respond promptly to prospect inquiries and requests, and prepare proposals and legal agreements for merchant prospects.
  • Provide regular updates and reports concerning prospect status, revenue and deal count achievement, partnership successes with various segment partners, and campaign successes.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:


  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of sales experience in a financial services commission or incentive-based role.
  • Exceptional communication skills with superior sales, business development, partnership, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in computer-based sales software and Microsoft Office Suite.


ESSENTIAL MENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


  • Ability to travel if required to perform essential job functions.
  • Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to operate related equipment to perform essential job functions.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents if required to perform essential job functions.
  • Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 10 pounds if required to perform essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division undue hardship, then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
