Job Overview

As a Mentor with C10 Labs, you will be supporting innovative startups across various industries. We pride ourselves on fostering a dynamic AI ecosystem that promotes creativity and growth for our portfolio companies. As part of our commitment to nurturing the next generation of successful companies, we are seeking experienced and accomplished founders and Industry leaders to join our team as Mentors. You will have a front seat to new innovation and play a hands-on role in shaping the future of AI startups. You will also have access to exclusive programs and events and the opportunity to become early advisors or fractional CxOs with our portfolio companies.

What You Will Do

• Provide strategic mentorship to portfolio companies, leveraging your AI expertise, network, and business acumen to drive positive outcomes.
• Assist founders and leadership teams in developing and refining their business strategies, market positioning, and overall business plans.
• Act as a trusted advisor, offering insights and constructive feedback to help startups overcome challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
• Cultivate and expand a network of industry experts, advisors, and potential partners to benefit portfolio companies.
• Provide expert insights on market trends, competitive landscapes, and potential risks associated with investment opportunities.
• Participate in workshops for portfolio companies to enhance their skills and knowledge in areas such as fundraising, business development, and scaling operations.
• Share industry best practices and emerging trends in AI to keep portfolio companies informed and well-positioned for success.
• Provide ongoing feedback to the investment team based on your insights and experience.
  
  

Who You Are

• Proven track record of success in a founder or co-founder capacity or as an industry leader. We have a preference for people with experience in Healthcare, FinTech, Manufacturing, Construction, and Climate Tech Industries
• Past success in mentoring and advising startups or high-growth companies.
• Strong network within the AI industry and a demonstrated ability to foster relationships within your network.
• In-depth understanding of venture capital, startup ecosystems, and emerging trends.
• Ability to commit about 10 hours a week and commute to our Cambridge office for events and sessions as relevant.
