Medical Receptionist - Pediatric

We are seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist for our busy pediatric practice in Canton. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year experience in administrative duties and in-depth knowledge of all front office procedures, preferably in a medical setting. Excellent verbal communication is a must.

Salary $31.2 - $37.4/yr commensurate with experience

No weekend hours

Duties may include:

• Greet patients and families upon arrival
• Check-in/ check-out, collect co-pays, verify demographics and insurance
• Answer phones and schedule appointments
• Medical records requests
• Make sure waiting room is presentable
• Perform additional duties, as required
  
  

 Qualifications include:

• 1 year administrative experience, preferably in a pediatric clinical setting
• Insurance (commercial and Medicaid) knowledge required
• 1-year medical terminology, preferred
• 1-year solid customer service experience or customer facing roles, preferred
• Welcoming personality
• Excellent computer skills and familiarity with other office equipment
• Basic typing and keyboard skills
• Must be able to act calmly and effectively in a busy or stressful situation
• Ability to take initiative and work well in a fast-paced team environment
  
  

Kids Health First is an Association of 37 Independent Pediatric Practices located in Atlanta and surrounding areas. Initial candidate screenings are conducted by our recruiter. All interviews and final decisions are made by the pediatric practices, based on their current individual needs and hiring processes. Salary and benefits are determined by individual practices.
