JOB DETAILS
Title: Medical Claims Specialist
Pay Rate: $21.50 an hour
Schedule: Full Time/40 hours weekly, Mon - Fri. Must be able to work any assigned 8 hour shift between the hours of 8 am and 8 pm.
Location: Combination of working from home and working onsite in Cary (hybrid).
Brief List of Job Responsibilities:
Work closely with healthcare providers and patients to assist with appeal management for claim denials.
Utilize in-depth understanding of insurance plans and benefit structures in order to obtain detailed benefit information and maximize plan benefits
Enter detailed and grammatically correct progress notes.
Requirements:
2+ years customer service experience.
2+ years medical or insurance industry experience.
Strong data analysis, communication, and attention to detail skills.
Able to work onsite in Cary and work from home.
High School Diploma or GED
