We are seeking a dedicated Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently resolving unpaid claims, handling appeals, and processing adjustments. Utilizing various communication methods such as phone, email, and mail, you will engage with insurance carriers, patients, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate billing and timely resolution of issues.
Key Responsibilities
Verify billing accuracy and rectify any discrepancies.
Communicate with insurance carriers to address billing concerns.
Review medical records as necessary.
Contact patients to gather or provide account information.
Prepare and submit appeal letters.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
