Medical Biller

LHH is seeking a dedicated Medical Billing Specialist in Fife, WA. Your primary responsibilities will include managing accounts receivable, working on aged accounts, addressing denials, and ensuring reimbursements are processed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle and resolve aged accounts to maximize reimbursements.
• Investigate and address claim denials, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
• Utilize your coding experience to accurately process claims, with a particular focus on modifiers and J-Codes, especially in oncology.
• Ensure that all reimbursements are accurately and promptly processed, contributing to the financial health of the organization.
• Focus on the backend processes of the billing cycle to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years in medical billing and backend accounts receivable.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial payers, Medicare, and Medicaid.
• Strong understanding of coding, including J-Codes and experience in oncology.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, particularly in addressing denials and managing aged accounts.
  
  

3-6 month contract with possible extension

ONSITE, Monday to Friday

Pay Details: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour
