Akkodis is seeking a hands on Electrical and Controls Engineering Manager to help support an organization and team that is an industry leader in a niche market! This team pioneers growth through automation and "service after the sale." Top 3-5 Technical Skills
A Mechanical PE License in Nebraska, and the ability to become licensed in other states as required.
3 – 7 years’ experience managing and leading technical staff; engineering manager, supervisor, or other technical team lead.
Substantial knowledge of mechanical and electrical concepts with a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical product design and best practices.
Use of 3D modeling software
Understanding and experience with regulatory codes such as UL, CSA, NEC and NFPA.
Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
Critical thinking and process-oriented mindset to resolve open issues and focus on continuous improvement throughout the team.
Willing and able to travel nationwide and internationally. Expected travel 10%.
