The Legislative Affairs Division has posted a Legislative Intern vacancy in Lansing. The Intern will provide research and administrative support to the MDCR Legislative Affairs Division.
The Work Will Include
Bill analysis
Public Policy analysis
Tracking legislation
Observing Michigan Senate and Michigan House of Representative sessions
Observing legislative committees
Drafting testimony for legislative committees
This is a virtual internship which may offer/require some in-person obligations.
Additional Requirements And Information
At the time of the internship, the applicant must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
Applicants who are working toward a degree in social sciences, communication, journalism, public policy and public administration and/or law are preferred.
