What we're looking for:

We are seeking a Marketing Director to join our team in our corporate headquarters located in Cincinnati, Ohio. As the Marketing Director Ackermann Group, you will be responsible for:

  • Oversight of all marketing strategies and the development of the Company's brand strategy.
  • Implementation of marketing strategies through research, preparation, development, and follow-up of successful, integrated campaigns that incorporate digital and traditional marketing.
  • Leading and mentoring Marketing Coordinators, setting clear goals, delegating tasks, and offering guidance and support to ensure collective success and professional development within the department.
  • Tracking and analyzing digital marketing efforts and using data and analytics to find gaps; propose and execute ideas to strengthen our marketing approach and efforts. This includes SEO / SEM metrics, Google Ads, organic traffic, and lead conversion ratios.
  • In conjunction with the Sales Director, produce and/or update digital content and creative for each asset and add effective calls to action (CTAs) to improve user engagement.
  • Collaborating with the Sales Director to define and analyze marketing materials and programs that drive performance.
  • Managing social media presence and online reputation and directing programs to improve reputation and recognition for all sites.
  • Developing and delivering marketing and communication strategies for the organization that maintain a cohesive strategy across all platforms to increase brand awareness, reinforcing the company's brand identity and values.
  • Setting marketing KPIs and utilizing data and analytics to fuel marketing decisions.
  • Evaluating and negotiating contracts for site ILS partners as needed based on site performance.
  • Managing third party vendors required to create and implement marketing deliverables.
  • Overseeing the customer journey, ensuring a positive experience that aligns with brand values and leasing goals from the Sales Director.
  • Directing and implementing comprehensive digital and print marketing materials and strategies, encompassing emails, flyers, social media posts, ads, Google Analytics, Data Studio, SEO, Facebook Ads, and Google My Business optimizations.
  • Managing Pillar Branding strategies and event collateral, enhancing brand presence and consistency across all platforms.
  • Handling the management of signage in line with branding guidelines.
  • Overseeing the marketing setup for new property acquisitions and/or lease-ups, encompassing the management of all marketing collateral, systems setup, and branding visuals.
  • Leading marketing initiatives tied to Corporate promotion, Investor/Fund relations, and Brand identity.
  • Leading content creation for diverse purposes such as blogs, videos, white papers, case studies, and thought leadership presentations, with a special focus on investment narratives to forge alignment with organization goals and brand values.
  • Directing the creation of investment-related materials, including pitch decks and investor communications, articulating unique value propositions.
  • Coordinating needed PR with creation and distribution of press releases and media kits, managing company representation, crisis communication, providing prompt and strategic responses to media inquiries or social media escalations.
  • Overseeing internal company content, including newsletters, branding guidelines, HR communications, and corporate initiatives.

The ideal Marketing Director will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 7+ years of related experience, including experience in Multi-Family or Real Estate
  • In-depth understanding of SEO/SEM, keyword research & Google Analytics
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience with email campaigns and paid advertising
  • Hands on experience with social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, MailChimp, and social media management tools
  • Graphic design
  • Project management skills with experience balancing multiple priorities, deadlines, and budgets
  • Proven track record of using digital marketing for branding and lead generation
  • Strong teamwork, interpersonal skills, and building/maintaining collaborative relationships
