The Marketing Assistant role offers great learning opportunities, a dynamic environment, new challenges, and a high level of responsibility following a training period. The role offers the opportunity to get an in-depth understanding of how to manage multi-channel marketing campaigns from start to finish. This position is career-tracked into a Marketing Manager role pending performance.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Marketing Campaign Support and management alongside the Marketing Manager to drive demand & qualified leads
  • Marketing Analysis & Research: Understanding the market and audience to assist in building a successful marketing campaign from both a quantitative and qualitative angle
  • Media Partnership Development: Researching, identifying, and establishing partnerships to increase brand awareness and revenue
  • Social Media: Assisting on social media outlets such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Email Marketing: Email campaign execution including writing copy, personalization, remarketing, email design & layout, email list management, etc.
  • Content Creation & Marketing: Create and design content for distribution
  • Drive membership growth/demand gen through multi-channel marketing
  • Interdepartmental communication and support
  • Production: Understanding the program and USP, developing marketing language to be used throughout the campaign
  • Sponsorship: Working with conference sponsors; following up on marketing promotion opportunities
  • Operations: Supporting on-site experience, branding, and collateral development for distribution


Successful Candidates Have:

  • BA in marketing or communications
  • Extremely detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A desire to learn and work in a team setting
  • Good combination of creative and analytical skills
  • Good time management - capable of meeting tight deadlines
  • Enthusiasm, drive & determination to succeed
  • Interest in traveling 1-2x a year to events
