Marketing and Communications Director

The Marketing + Communications Director will oversee and manage all aspects related to the production and implementation of all marketing strategies for The Amenity Collective. You will be in charge of developing, implementing, and managing marketing campaigns that promote our company and its services. You will play a major role in enhancing multi-brand awareness within the digital space and establishing best practices that help our brands drive website traffic and acquire leads/customers.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to create awareness of the company’s business activities and multiple brands.
  • Establish, own, and drive strategic best practices in internal and external communications that positively impacts our employees’ and clients’ understanding, engagement, and commitment with the result of an event stronger connection to the company that leads to a return on investment.
  • Work closely with the Platform Presidents and Sales Teams to ensure alignment with sales and marketing strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities and key issues.
  • Oversee digital marketing strategy, including website, SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Develop and manage marketing budget.
  • Become the organization’s agent towards external parties such as media, stakeholders and potential clients and build strategic partnerships.
  • Lead public relations efforts, serve as a primary spokesperson for the organization, and develop contacts with media members and industry influencers.
  • Oversee and direct all owned, earned, and paid media execution.
  • Built upon the company's position as industry thought-leaders.
  • Manage presence at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Monitor progress and submit performance reports.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS


  • Excellent leadership and organizing skills.
  • Analytical and creative thinking.
  • Exquisite communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Up to speed with current and online marketing techniques and best practices.
  • Thorough knowledge of web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.) and Google Adwords.
  • Customer-oriented approach with aptitude.
  • Technical marketing skills, including digital marketing.


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing and communications or relevant field.
  • At least five years of proven marketing leadership experience.
  • Experience in all aspects of developing and managing marketing strategies.
  • Proven experience in marketing for multiple brands.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS


  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
