Job Details

Manufacturing Project Manager. We are on the hunt for a dynamic, experienced and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager. This exciting opportunity is within the manufacturing industry. If you thrive on managing multiple construction and manufacturing projects, coordinating with various teams, and driving projects to completion, then we want to hear from you. This position requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience in project management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, bidding, and change orders. Experience with ERP systems, specifically Sage 300, is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and delivering projects frommanufacturing, inception to completion. Your key responsibilities will include

  • Leading construction project planning sessions and coordinating staff and internal resources in a manufacturing environment.
  • Managing construction project progress and adapting work as required.
  • Overseeing construction project budgets, managing change orders, and ensuring projects stay within scope.
  • Ensuring projects meet deadlines and are delivered on time.
  • Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation.
  • Designing risk mitigation plans.
  • Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for executive staff.
  • Optimizing and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary.
  • Securing growth opportunities and initiating new projects.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need

  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years of project management experience as a project manager or assistant project manager
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must have experience leading commercial construction projects dealing with glazing, windows, doors, framing, bullet proof glass, wall curtains, ceiling panels etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of doors, windows, framing manufacturing and or project management with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with ERP systems, Sage 300 preferred.
  • Experience dealing with change orders
  • Experience with storefront and curtain wall systems, windows, doors etc. preferred
  • Ability to read architectural blueprints is required.
  • Knowledge of project budgets, change orders, bidding, and construction management. manufactyring management
  • Experience with pre-construction and commercial projects.
  • Ability to obtain a Government Security Clearance
  • Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
