Client is looking for candidate who will provide day-to-day technical foundry operations support by leveraging processes expertise, implementing tooling development, and continuous improvements to operational safety, quality, efficiency, and cost management.
Job Duties
The role will be a Manufacturing Engineering Manager for Mapleton Foundry and Machine Shop
Leadership over manufacturing engineering team. Team consists of up to eight direct reports including manufacturing engineers and production non-traditional roles.
Accountable for value stream goals. Alignment with operations on people, quality, velocity, and cost targets for full value stream foundry and machine shop
Responsible for actively recruiting and continuing to build a strong performing team.
Continuous improvement project leadership
Basic Requirements
Requires analytical ability as well as excellent oral and written communications skills.
This position requires a 4-year college degree in an appropriate engineering or technical discipline with 7 years of progressive manufacturing experience,
OR
equivalent 15 years of progressive manufacturing experience.
Direct leadership, project leadership, or team lead experience required.
Foundry or machining process experience required.
