  • Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Manufacturer's Sales Representative located in Irvine, CA. As a Manufacturer's Sales Representative, you will be responsible for customer service, sales, account management, business development, and wholesale activities. Your day-to-day tasks will include building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying new sales opportunities, managing accounts, and promoting our NEVI-compliant EV charging hardware to OEMs, CPOs, and other relevant entities.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and interpersonal skills
  • Experienced in account management and business development
  • Must possess a robust working knowledge about DC fast chargers, including hardware and technical specifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Self-starter with ability to self-direct new initiatives
  • Strong working knowledge of EV industry as a whole and the DCFC fast charging market specifically
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as needed
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to identify and pursue new sales opportunities for Build America, Buy America-compliant DC Fast chargers
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target customer bases, including EV manufacturers, fleet operators, property developers, utilities, government agencies, etc.
  • Lead negotiations and contract discussions with prospective customers, ensuring alignment with company objectives and profitability targets.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and other collateral materials to showcase the value proposition of our EV chargers
  • Track, analyze, and report on sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and market trends to inform strategic decision-making and optimize business development efforts

Due to a new niche in the North American manufacturing market through recent Buy America legislative compliance requirements, Tellus Power North America is the first North American- based subsidiary assembly plant for Tellus Power Ltd (based in Hong Kong). Due to the start-up nature and fast-paced timeline of this regulatory compliance endeavor, we are seeking to build out a nimble, capable, and robust team for our new Irvine, CA location.
