Provides Finance leadership for the DNO manufacturing plant and supply chain operations while partnering with the Director of Finance, Global Manufacturing Operations. Evaluates data and performs analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, projects, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. Develops, implements and monitors financial performance metrics, including existing and projected performance drivers. Researches economic progressions to support financial planning and decision making. Creates financial models of 'what if' scenarios for future business planning in areas such as new product development, transfers, etc.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage all financial actual results, measurements performance of the plant, supply chain, inbound logistics, NPI and Model Shop operations, and provides timely and accurate reporting.
Support operations in developing monthly forecasts which include product volumes, product standard cost, contribution performance, cost center spending, manufacturing key metrics, capacity planning, inventories, logistic costs and capital expenditures
Support operations in developing annual operating plans which include product volumes, product standard cost, contribution performance, cost center spending, manufacturing key metrics, capacity planning, inventories, logistic costs and capital expenditures.
Interpret operating results as they affect the financial and operational aspects of the business and make specific recommendations, which will result in process improvement, cost reduction, and increased profit potential.
Ensure overall accuracy and integrity of financial processes and systems, financial data, management reporting, and adherence to all compliance requirements
Direct asset management to ensure capital expenditures meets corporate guidelines, Review, approve, and assure proper justification for all capital appropriation requests originated by division associates and control disposition of all assets in the division.
Back up for all standard costs related activities (raw materials and produced items)
Support material manager in operational aspects of plant materials management (Supplier forecasting, inventories, turns, scrap, E&O reserves, inbound logistic cost spending’s).
Support of product cost optimization activities in the plant.
Perform quarterly COGM updates for DNO, calculate actuals and forecast, provide explanations for deviations.
Direct financial and administrative staff in support of the Plant Director.
Provide financial and operational support as directed by the Director of Manufacturing and VP–Finance Global Operations, supporting projects and business case, calculates payback and monitors savings.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
Typically has 6-8 years of experience in Business Finance and typically 0-2 years leadership experience.
Manufacturing experience
Advanced Excel
Oracle ERP
Hybrid - Onsite 3 days a week
Preferred Qualifications
Alteryx highly preferred
