Maintenance Technician

In the role of Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

• Troubleshooting and repairing a variety of injection molding and auxiliary support equipment, including but not limited to:
• Arburg, Van Dorn and Toyo Injection Molding Machines
• Ultrasonic Welders
• Multi-axis Industrial Robots
• You will also Install and qualify above equipment as necessary
• Supporting and improving the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program
• Continuing education to update and expand skill set
• Document custom equipment and modifications
• Specify and order replacement components to maintain spare parts inventory
• Communicate with multiple departments in a professional, positive, team-oriented manner
• Complete tasks and projects on-time
• Must be adaptable and willing to work in a team environment
• Operate a personal computer, utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite
• Perform Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum (5) five years’ experience in the Maintenance field specifically in a manufacturing environment.
• Hydraulic and Electrical proficiency
• High School Graduate
• Must be able to communicate with all levels of staff.
  
  

Desirable Qualifications:

• AS in electronics
• ISO experience
  
  

ADA Requirements:

• Bend, squat, climb, grasp, reach, lift or otherwise move about frequently and for extended periods of time
• Lift, move or otherwise transfer up to 50 lbs. frequently, or more occasionally
• Walk, stand or otherwise move about continuously
• Exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards which may require respiratory protection
• Typically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for occasional operation of a computer
