Position Overview:

They are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join their dynamic team in Wisconsin. This role is pivotal in integrating AI technology into their agricultural machinery. The ideal candidate will have a robust agricultural background, comprehensive knowledge of agricultural machinery, and the technical expertise to set up and implement AI-driven processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement AI technologies in agricultural machinery, particularly focusing on process automation, an example being guidance systems.
• Conduct vision analysis to design and set up automated processes using coding and programming skills.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AI solutions.
• Hands-on setup and maintenance of the infrastructure required for new technology implementations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AI applications in machinery.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance AI systems to improve performance and reliability.
• Provide training and support to team members and end-users on new AI technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
• Strong background in agriculture, with a deep understanding of agricultural machinery and its operational requirements.
• Proven experience in AI implementation, machine learning, and vision analysis within Ag.
• Proficient in coding and programming languages relevant to AI and automation (e.g., Python, C++, Java).
• Versatile and self-directed, capable of working independently and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Hands-on experience in setting up technical infrastructure for AI applications.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with process automation in agricultural machinery.
• Familiarity with sensor integration and data analytics in farming equipment.
