We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Learning and Development Specialist to join The Trade Desk as part of the Global Learning and Development Team. We are a passionate group of professionals focused on helping The Trade Desk employees reach their full potential by building and delivering programs that foster growth and development. This individual will play a crucial role in scheduling and organizing training classes, managing logistics, and ensuring that our learning initiatives are executed flawlessly. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, data-driven, and flexible, with excellent planning and organizational skills. This individual embodies TTD leadership behaviors and uniquely brings facilitation skills into this role, jumping in to lead training sessions with needed.

What you'll do:


  • Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Learning & Development, you will be responsible for supporting global, scalable learning solutions that align to The Trade Desk’s company goals and objectives.
  • Schedule and coordinate learning experiences, ensuring all logistical aspects are managed efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain detailed back-end project plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all learning experiences.
  • Oversee the setup and breakdown of onsite and virtual learning experiences.
  • Administer the LMS (Learning Management System), record session attendance, and maintain accurate records of training activities and participant progress.
  • Update and measure online/digital content/learning channels.
  • Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of learning programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate training sessions as needed, providing engaging and informative instruction.
  • Adapt to changing schedules and priorities, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.
  • Reinforce leadership behaviors that align to our core values & competencies

Who you are:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a learning and development or training role.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
  • Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS), Qualtrics, and/or other training software a plus.
  • Proficiency in data reporting and data analysis a plus.

NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only: In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is

$57,800—$105,900 USD
