Landscape Designer

Top Dallas area landscape architecture, urban design, and planning firm is seeking to grow their team with a skilled Landscape Designer. This role is perfect for someone looking to join a collaborative environment, where they can grow as a professional.

The right candidate will:

• Have excellent design skills

• Have outstanding design graphic skills (hand drawing as well as computer graphics)

• Knowledgeable of and have experience with construction methodologies and implementation

• Capable of working with design teams and consultants through all design stages from concept through construction

• Be able to supervise staff and lead teams to complete projects while meeting deadlines and budget requirements

• Be able to prepare and oversee production of CD sets including hardscape, planting, landscape lighting, water features, construction details, and preparation of specification and bidding packages.

• Be proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Microsoft Office Suite and GIS.

• Have experience writing proposals

• Have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university

The candidate needs to be self-motivated, have great communication skills, be able to work independently and collaboratively with a team and have plenty of experience drafting construction documents.
