Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Irvine, CA 92606

Duration: 06 months

Shift Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am-5pm

Responsibilities

  • Perform media preparation, accurately measuring and dispensing, in compliance with established work instructions and adherence with SOPs, including recording traceable information.
  • Perform basic laboratory support functions such as laboratory inventory management, arranging for calibration and maintenance of equipment, lab housekeeping, and receiving of production samples and laboratory supplies.
  • Communicate and coordinate activities with vendors.
  • Assist in preparing test supplies.
  • Clean and prepare lab glassware and supplies.
  • Operate and clean supporting equipment (e.g autoclaves, dishwashers, etc).
  • Assist in maintaining laboratory paperwork.
  • Other incidental duties.

Additional Skills

  • Good computer skills with proven ability to use computer-based programs.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, speak, and write English.
  • Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Basic knowledge of laboratory processes.
  • Basic knowledge in mathematics, e.g., decimals and percentage.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to Client’s Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines as they relate to department clean room medical device manufacturing.
  • Strict attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in your own team environment.

Education And Experience

  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent required Other: Experience in Laboratory Preferred
