Key Account Manager (Total Wine & Walgreens)

Job Description

The Key Account Manager is responsible for achieving market share, availability and visibility targets through strong Key Account Management within assigned National Accounts (Total Wine and Walgreens National). You will develop and translate strategy into execution plans and ensure quality implementation, while bringing creative programs & innovation into market activation to ensure that the joint priorities (BUSA/customers) are executed to deliver optimum sales. You will be located in California, Florida, or Texas.

Responsibilities

- Responsible for supporting TWM business (90% of time) and leading the relationship nationally for Walgreens (10% of time)
- Focus primarily on maximizing field execution of the AVQPAP plan for BUSA portfolio to ensure industry leading activations
- Develop and maintain strong working partnerships with distributor chain teams across multiple states and SGWS national execution team to drive share of mind and accountability to deliver results
- Assist in developing annual sales plans and strategies across Bacardi portfolio aligned with JBP targets
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various functions: shopper marketing, RGM, Brand, ops, analytics, D-com
- Reviews data relevant to account/market/channel & supports post-promotional analysis for key programs with NAM and NRS Customer Analyst to convert insights into actions.
- Build and deliver fact based selling presentations to support our key business objectives: new items, retail strategy & promotional activity.
- Partner with NAM in the development of custom brand programs to satisfy customer needs and business opportunities by state & region.
- Ensure consistent coordination with the National Accounts (NRS) organization, and with other Commercial Business Units (CBU’s) impacted by Regional & HQ Account plans.
- Lead and support monthly key chain account planning calls with Local BUSA & Distributor personnel

Skills and Experience

* Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, or related area
* 3-5+ years Field Sales experience, Key account Management, Marketing or RGM within a wine and spirits environment.
* Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast pace environment with an entrepreneurial spirit, "go-getter, get-things-done" behavior and "consumer/customer first" mindset
* Ability to create, maintain and build professional relationships and strong partnerships based on trust and accountability to drive results
* Excellent presentation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
* Proficiency with MS office and related applications
* Experience with analyzing & interpreting customer data - IRI-Nielsen - Converting insights into action
* Ability and willingness to maintain flexible work schedules, as occasional weekend and extended workdays are necessary.
* Ability & willingness to travel throughout US for internal, customer & distributor engagements
