Junior Staff Accountant

Job Type: Full Time

Location: In Person - West Covina, CA

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Responsibilities but not Limited to:

Analyzing financial data

Actively participating in financial forecasting and budgeting processes

Researching macroeconomic and microeconomic conditions

Preparing accounting and other required reports and projections based on the analysis performed

Evaluating capital expenditures and asset depreciation

Establishing and evaluating records, statements, and profit plans

Identifying financial performance trends and financial risk and making recommendations

Providing recommendations for improvement based on trends

Coordinating with other departments when required to prepare and review financial information and forecasts

Creating and updating financial models

Making financial forecasts

Analyzing inventory

Communicating with HQ when needed

Other ad-hoc projects upon request

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, statistics or related field

Proven experience in data analysis, minimum of 1 year preferred

Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications

Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills

Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis

Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Comfortable using a computer for various tasks

Proven quick learning abilities and meeting deadlines

Highly organized

Excellent documentation skills
