As a Junior People/Office Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our LA office. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support our team and enhance the overall office culture. Responsibilities
Office Management:
- Oversee daily office operations to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair of office equipment, ordering of parking passes etc.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
People Management:
- Assist in the onboarding process for new employees, including orientation and training coordination.
- Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality.
- Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Support HR in organizing company events, meetings, and employee engagement activities.
- Assist with staffing requests as needed.
Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support to senior management and other team members.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Handle general inquiries and direct them to the appropriate team members.
Culture and Environment:
- Foster a positive and inclusive office culture.
- Plan and execute office social events and team-building activities.
- Implement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in office management or a similar administrative role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic HR software.
- High level of discretion and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
