Junior IT Engineer

We are seeking a Junior IT Engineer to join our team at our Hopkins, MN office.

As an IT Engineer, you will be responsible for a variety of day-to-day tasks related to hardware inventory and asset management, office infrastructure management, Entra AD infrastructure management, and acting as a point of contact for various applications and services within the company. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in larger projects such as infrastructure and cloud migrations, ISO27001, and SOC2 related projects.

Junior IT Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Manage hardware inventory and asset management processes;

• Maintain and support office infrastructure, including networking, security, and print servers;

• Manage and support Entra AD infrastructure;

• Act as a point of contact for all applications and services within the company;

• Participate in infrastructure and cloud migration projects;

• Contribute to ISO27001 and SOC2 related projects;

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise;

• Provide user support and assistance.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with Microsoft products, both on-premise and cloud (Entra AD experience is preferred);

• Operating systems knowledge -proficiency in Windows, Mac

• EntraID(Azure AD);

• Understanding of networking fundamentals;

• Basic PowerShell understanding;

• Basic configuration and troubleshooting of routers;

• Basic understanding of virtualization technologies;

• Familiarity with Hardware;

• Previous user support experience is a strong advantage;

• Eagerness to learn and develop as an engineer;

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
