Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Buy Side Equity Research Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will support our senior analysts in conducting in-depth research and analysis of equity investment opportunities across various sectors. Responsibilities
Assist senior analysts in researching and analyzing companies, industries, and market trends to identify investment opportunities.
Compile and evaluate financial data, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Develop financial models and forecasts to support investment recommendations.
Monitor and update investment thesis and recommendations based on ongoing market developments and company performance.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing research findings and investment recommendations.
Collaborate with portfolio managers and other team members to contribute insights and recommendations for portfolio construction and asset allocation.
Stay informed about market news, regulatory developments, and economic indicators that may impact investment decisions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in equity research, financial analysis, or investment banking (internship experience may be considered).
Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial statements and valuation techniques.
Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel; familiarity with Bloomberg or other financial databases is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information.
Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
