We are currently hiring an Electrician to join our Facilities and Maintance team in our Grand Rapids Headquarters Offices
What You Will Be Doing:
You will work under minimal supervision to install, service, and repair complex electrical equipment and circuits. You will also use your troubleshooting skills and technical expertise to work with control systems. Additionally, you may be requested to provide assistance in training and mentoring apprentices, supplemental/contract labor, and colleagues.

Your will be part of a collaborative Facilities and Maintance team.
Who you are:
Required Skills
Requires knowledge of electrical devices such as controls, switches, starters, transformers, motors, and panel
boards.
Must be able to analyze and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in equipment and related components, diagnosing and correcting the problems.
Must be able to install electrical conduit and controls, performing all work from prints or general direction according to National Electrical Code and handle all other assignments associated with the electrical trade (mounting of electrical boxes, brackets, controls, switches, and safety hardware, etc.).
Requires the ability to work in elevated position (from lifts, ladders, scaffolds, etc.).
Must have a strong mechanical / electrical aptitude and working knowledge of electrical components, electronic circuits and electrical devices.
Must be able to read electrical schematics, electrical plans, blueprints, maintenance manuals, and understand electrical principles and codes.
Must have a working knowledge of electrical meters and instruments such as, multi-function meters, programmable controls and associated equipment.
Requires knowledge and skill in the use of electrical hand tools and tools of the electrical trade.
Must be able to perform electrical preventative maintenance.
Must know and follow established safety procedures including a working knowledge of OSHA & MIOSHA.
Strong computer skills with ability to study and comprehend new technology.
Education:
Electrician License - must have satisfactorily completed a (4) year apprenticeship approved by the U.S. Department of Labor and obtain a current Journeyman license.
