Provide oversight, guidance, and consultation for technology solutions selection and deployment.
Review technology requests for alignment with agency goals and objectives.
Develop quotes, cost/benefit analyses, and purchase recommendations.
Manage hardware and software inventory for agency purchases.
Coordinate and supervise deployment of networking and client/server technologies.
Provide expert troubleshooting for diverse technology issues.
Manage agency data center operations, ensuring compliance with security and environmental policies.
Address electrical requirements and environmental controls.
Coordinate troubleshooting efforts for complex network/server issues.
Supervision and Leadership:
Supervise the IT Technical Support unit, assigning staff as needed.
Ensure staff professional training, development, and performance evaluation.
Equip staff with necessary tools and skills for success.

Thorough knowledge of LAN Administration, server support (Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server, etc.), virtualization technologies (VMWare ESX), and network services (DNS, DHCP).
