An internship with Get Engaged Media provides students with practical experience in an agency environment. Internship placements are directly related to the student’s program of study and the needs of the department. Students will gain valuable real-world knowledge not available in the classroom and entry-level, career-related experience that employer’s value when hiring. Success in this internship will help ensure the development of skills necessary for a lasting and rewarding career in Digital Marketing!

Requirements

• Minimum commitment of 15 working hours per week
• Related major or previous internship experience required
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to prioritize tasks
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Problem analysis and problem-solving

We are looking for students with an interest in Content Monetization, Production (Photography & Videography) and Graphic Design. Interns will assist in the life cycle of influencer and content-seeding campaigns. From initial outreach to approving posts before they go live, they will be hands-on in all aspects of what it takes to run a successful influencer marketing campaign in the music industry. We are looking for interns to work with our Account Associates and Account Managers across their portfolios of brand clients. This might include pulling analytics, reporting on current trends, social media profile research, writing captions, curating content ideas, completing competitive analysis of social media profiles, and other activities surrounding social media account management.
