Your Opportunity
EBSCO’s front end engineering teams have an exciting opportunity for an intern to join their group. Said intern would assist a front-end development team achieve their goal of delivering value to both our customers as well as EBSCO itself.
This remote position is U.S.-based only (excluding U.S. territories)
What You’ll Do (Primary Responsibilities)
Assist a development team write software to complete features
Interact with various members of different disciplines throughout the company (such as scrum masters, product owners, business owners, etc.)
Participate in an Agile framework (we specifically use the SAFe framework https://scaledagileframework.com/)
Prepare yourself for a potential career in software development (with a focus on front end)

You will be welcomed as a member of Byte Club, a team made up of 5 developers, a scrum master, and a product owner; focused on updating our products to have a modern UI while maintaining the functionality that our customers expect. About You
Highschool diploma
JavaScript experience
CSS experience
Source control management software experience (preferably git)
What Sets You Apart
React and/or Redux experience
Experience with or familiarity with agile frameworks
Comprehension of the library and research marketplace as it relates to technology, content, and workflows
