Overview

The Data Governance Integration Specialist will prioritize their efforts according to data governance department goals and initiatives. The Integration Specialist will expand the capacity of the Data Governance program by leading integration efforts and onboarding new assets into the data governance tool. The Integration Specialist will help other parts of the credit union use and develop integrations with the data governance tools as needed.

Responsibilities

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Integrate with other systems of record to increase adoption and functionality of the data governance program and tools.
  • Help visioner and design a platform for integration between systems.
  • Program integration application(s) to establish regular and event driven integrations.
  • Test and work with other employees to validate that integrations are working as expected.
  • Troubleshoot and repair integration programs as issues arise. Maintain Integration programs as APIs, and systems change.

  • Ability to envision and build software and programs that will serve for integration.
  • Use APIs and their documentation to build out integrations.
  • Knowledge and Experience with the US consumer financial services market, regulations, products & services.

Qualifications

  • A total of 8 years of Education and Experience.
  • Option 1 : Bachelors in a STEM field + Master’s degree in STEM field + 2 Years work experience
  • Option 2: Bachelors in a STEM field + 4 Years work experience
  • Option 3: 8 Years work experienceWork Experience does not include academic projects.
  • Work Experience includes the following:
    • Using a pre-existing or self-built integration platform to move data from one system to another as a core part of your job/role.
    • Experience working with a software development toolset, not only coding in a programming language (Python, C#, C, Etc.) But experience in deploying applications and maintaining them in production.
    • Experience using a CI/CD pipeline to code and deploy applications.
Desired Experience

  • Experience working with Collibra, especially Collibra APIs.
  • Experience designing, developing, and deploying a CI/CD pipeline from scratch.
  • Experience in one or more of the following domains:
  • Business Management.
  • Information Technology.
  • Databases and Warehouse
  • Data Governance or IT Governance or Enterprise Governance
