Job Description:

We are seeking a Lead Integration Engineer to join our team in Chicago. In this role, you will play a crucial part in implementing our platform for large enterprise clients. You will lead a team of Integration Engineers based in the US, ensuring seamless integration of our solutions with client systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Integration Engineers, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
• Understand client business processes and technology environments to effectively meet integration requirements.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions with clients to gather system and data integration needs, collaborating closely with client technology and operations teams.
• Define integration architecture and document specifications for client implementations.
• Estimate integration efforts to support project planning and execution.
• Configure and customize our platform, integrating it with client systems according to defined approaches.
• Develop a deep understanding of client data models and integration frameworks.
• Implement integrations to facilitate data movement between client environments and our platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data processing efficiency and system performance.
• Work closely with client internal teams and external partners to ensure timely project completion.
• Act as the primary technical contact for client inquiries and issues, providing prompt resolution and technical guidance.
• Review, scope, and estimate new integrations or changes to existing integrations.
• Deploy enhancements and address defects as part of implementation and testing processes.
• Facilitate the onboarding of new stores and rollout processes for end users.
• Provide support for production incidents and defects, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in leading engineering teams.
• 10+ years of development experience, including at least 3 years with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
• Proficiency in REST API development.
• Experience in system integration and backend software development.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective client communication abilities.
• Solid understanding of clean code principles and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with Linux and AWS environments.
• Proven ability to tackle challenges and solve complex client problems.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in enterprise software integration within cloud-based environments.
• Familiarity with GraphQL API.
• Previous involvement with workforce management solutions.
• Background in Quick Service Restaurant and/or Retail industries.
