For over 50 years ABL Wholesale Distributors has been the premiere single-source distributor serving retailers in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. We are currently searching for an IT Manager to join our rapidly growing team. As a member of senior management, the position is expected to lead with accountability, integrity and innovation.
The IT manager will be responsible for the operation of all ABL Wholesale Distributors' technical systems within the constraints of business requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines. The IT Manager will supervise internal IT employees, outside contractors, suppliers, and will implement and maintain the organization’s communication systems. The IT Manager will have proven professional experience in project management, strategic planning, and demonstrate a strong understanding of current IT industry trends.
Duties and Responsibilities:

· Ability to lead by example with the highest integrity, professionalism and respect.
· Manage all areas of information technology, computer systems, and telecommunications.
· Lead and develop the IT team, including recruitment, training, performance appraisal, and coaching.
· Oversee IT project management, from planning to execution to evaluation.
· Consult and work together with the management team on system issues and upgrades with a sense of urgency.
· Provide input to management team on organizational guidelines respective to technology, such as an “IT Acceptable Use” policy and IT risk management.
· Develop, implement, and maintain IT systems, applications, policies, and procedures; Regularly update them to stay current with industry trends.
· Operate in alignment with end-user needs and system functionality to meet organizational goals.
· Identify and address failing, outdated, or inefficient technology equipment and workflows, proactively implementing solutions.
· Conduct regular system and process audits, reporting findings to the management team.
· Manage technology upgrades, considering factors such as initial investment, refresh cycles, five-year total cost of ownership (TCO), and return on investment (ROI) analysis.
· Provide timely technical support to employees, offer training as needed, and ensure clear communication and proactive problem resolution; Seek to not have the same problems reoccur.
· Safeguard assets, information security, data, ERP system, network access, and backup systems.
· Develop and document an IT Disaster Recovery (DR) plan and contribute to the Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in science-related discipline.
· Proven successful employment experience as an IT manager (or relevant related experience) for a business of 50 or more employees.
· Proven record of continuing education and current knowledge of changes and enhancements in the industry.
· Expertise in “private data center” management, data governance, hybrid cloud computing, and SaaS configurations.
· Expertise in Microsoft Windows and Apple MacOS operating systems.
· Expertise in deploying, troubleshooting, and training on standard productivity software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
