Toyota-Denso Automotive Compressor Georgia, Inc. (TACG), established in 2004, is a subsidiary of Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO). TICO is a leading global manufacturer of automobile parts and assemblies, material handling equipment, and provider of logistics solutions. TACG specializes in the manufacturing of automobile air conditioning compressors.

TACG is based in Pendergrass, Georgia. This position is on-site at TACG 1000 Valentine industrial Parkway, Pendergrass GA 30567.


Position Purpose:

Provide support to the organization by maintaining information technology systems and hardware. Taking on tasks such as answering customer inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues, creating support documents, and managing internal customer accounts. These roles are essential for providing fast and effective service.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform PC hardware and printer installation, IP phone installation, imaging of computers, and setup of Microsoft Windows in a network environment.
  • Conduct network and software administration, including troubleshooting for end users.
  • Provide training and consultation as needed on hardware and software and make recommendations about future planning and IT resource needs.
  • Analyze business requirements to identify projects and technologies to enable business improvements and serve as the project manager for IT initiatives from concept through release.
  • Provide technical support to end users via telephone, e-mail, or in person.
  • Perform job duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines including OSHA and EPA. Complies with all company policies and procedures.
  • Follow all aspects of the site Environmental Policy as it pertains to normal job duties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications – Required:

  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required with 1-3 years’ experience with Help Desk duties
  • Knowledge and experience with EDI inbound and outbound processes and specifications are required.
  • Hardware troubleshooting skills
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-cultural, team oriented environment.


Qualifications – Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred with two years working experience in an IT related field.
  • Experience with CISCO switches preferred.
  • Experience with IP phone switches and MAPICS system (AS400) maintenance a plus.


Essential Functions/Abilities:

  • The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to finger, handle or feel
  • The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • He employee must occasionally lift and/or more at least 10 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • The associate must have the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
