Job Description:
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment, with a strong focus on automated controls, programming PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and Distributive Control Systems (DCS). Your expertise will ensure that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance and Repair: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and automated systems.
PLC Programming: Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs to ensure optimal performance of machinery and systems.
DCS Management: Operate and maintain Distributive Control Systems to monitor and control production processes.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with electrical, mechanical, and automated systems quickly to minimize downtime.
System Upgrades: Implement upgrades and improvements to existing control systems and machinery.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system updates.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and production teams to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance with a focus on automated controls, PLC programming, and DCS.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens), DCS operation, and understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and repair complex systems.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
