I am seeking a talented and motivated Independent Film Composer Agent to help expand my reach and secure new opportunities in the movie and television scoring industry. With over 25 years of experience, I have scored TV shows, movies, movie trailers, commercials, documentaries, and more. As a busy professional, I am looking for someone who can handle the business and connections side of my career.
Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain connections with producers, directors, and production houses in key locations such as Atlanta, Los Angeles, and internationally.
Proactively reach out to potential clients to secure scoring projects for TV shows, movies, limited series, and other visual media.
Negotiate contracts and manage client relationships to ensure successful project outcomes.
Regularly update and maintain social media profiles and the website to enhance professional visibility.
Provide weekly reports detailing the progress and efforts made towards securing new projects.
Qualifications:
Strong communication and networking skills with a proven track record in business development or talent representation.
Understanding of the entertainment industry, particularly in securing scoring projects for visual media.
Experience in marketing and social media management.
Ability to work independently and provide regular progress updates.
A background in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Entertainment Management, Media Studies, Film Studies, Music Industry Studies, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Passion for the entertainment industry and a desire to excel in a dynamic environment.
Compensation:
Negotiable salary.
Commission based on a percentage of the production music fee from secured projects.
Performance-based assessment.

This is a remote position with flexible working hours. The candidate will need to provide regular updates and reports on their progress.
