Actively seeking a Human Resources Manager for a HYBRID and Full-Time Position within a Law Firm. The manager needs to have at least 10 years of experience in an HR management or generalist role, preferably with prior legal experience or within professional services, financial services, or banking.

HOURS: Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST

SCHEDULE | LOCATION: HYBRID (3 Days In Office, 2 Days Working from Home) | Manhattan, NY

PAY: $165 - $175K (Commensurate w/Experience) + Discretionary Bonus

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree REQUIRED
  • SPHR/PHR certification and/or advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant HR management experience in a professional services environment
  • Strong MS Office Suite Experience (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); Workday Proficiency, and previous experience with an LMS system
  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Human Resource Staff Functions: oversee employee work performance, monitor evaluations, review and keep updated firm policies, review and audit time entries and expense reports
  • Recruitment & Termination: oversee staff recruiting, manage summer associate program, manager terminations and exit interviews
  • L&D: oversee ongoing education, training programs
  • Employee Relations: lead counseling and coaching, work with heads and managers of departments, conduct internal investigations
  • Additional duties as assigned and needed for the department
